Privacy

This is a personal portfolio, not a service with accounts, forms, checkout, or user uploads. I collect no information that you type into this site because there is nowhere to type it. Contact happens through your email client or a third-party profile only when you choose to open one.

Analytics

I use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how the site performs. Its default web implementation may collect page URLs and titles, session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, and a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie. I use those reports to understand traffic and improve the site, not to identify visitors by name.

Google explains its collection in Google Analytics data collection and describes how it processes data in its privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Storage on your device

The theme switch stores your light or dark preference in local storage. This preference stays in your browser and is not sent to me.

External links and media

Some pages link to or embed content from services such as LinkedIn, GitHub, ORCID, Zenodo, and YouTube. Those services receive data under their own policies when your browser connects to them. YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced domain.
